About Adat Ari El:
Adat Ari El is a Conservative Jewish synagogue and school located in the heart of the San Fernando Valley. We are the oldest Jewish congregation in the San Fernando Valley.
Seeking an Applicant to work in the position of Marketing and Development Coordinator in our Valley Village, California location
Education and Experience:
The successful candidate will be comfortable working in a dynamic, data-driven environment and will have a good balance of marketing & communication, analytical, and technical skills. The position requires a creative, critical-thinker with the ability to provide data driven insights and recommendations to see ideas from inception through to completion.
We require a Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Economics, or a closely related field to these disciplines.
We require related prior experience in marketing, communications and data analytics.
We look for strategic thinking, analysis and reporting skills and a demonstrated commitment to accountability, measuring outcomes and a result-oriented culture.
Strong writing, communication and presentation skills are also needed.
Looking for experience with Google Analytics, SPSS, STATA & SQL.
Reports to: The person will be reporting directly to our Director of Communications.
Will play a role in enhancing the Adat Ari El brand, helping to attract new members, donors and corporate sponsors.
Central to the role are communication activities directly tied to effective branding, and developing and implementing a strategic communication strategy, coordinating and facilitating donor relationships and growing Adat Ari El’s membership.
Coordinating strategic internal and external communications, marketing and development activities for Adat Ari El by employing creativity together with data analytics to help grow the organization.
Utilizing data collected from our extensive research efforts.
Tracking and analyzing our marketing programs, promotions and effectiveness of strategy using Google Analytics and SPSS.
Creating research & demographic reports and profiles using data gathered and monitoring available analytics to measure effectiveness of our communications efforts and ROI and will analyze performance across channels.
Using data collected from outreach, surveys and market research studies, to coordinate events and marketing materials to engage our congregants.
Developing print and electronic materials to increase awareness of Adat Ari El and the programs we offer.
Additional Responsibilities to be Determined by Candidate’s Qualifications:
Planning new fundraising campaigns and fundraising events and membership drives, including High Holiday ticket tracking and mailings, Gala ticket tracking and mailings.
